Aerial Shot Of The Harmon Siding

Down about the middle and on the right side of the picture you will see where the road is closest to the Railroad tracks.  This the area where the wreck happened. On the first curve south of Harmon (just to the left of the hand written number 18)(just before the tracks cross Otter Creek).  The curve bends to the right.

Some browsers will auto zoom in and some will not.  If you are not zoomed in you will see a small picture of the Harmon area, zoom in.  If you are zoomed in and then scroll around you can see the elevator at Harmon at the end of a road that runs east west and then turns downward (near the center and right side of picture)(above where  Square Butte Creek that makes the lazy "S").  Just of the end of the road on an eastward travel you can see it next to the tracks.  The Elevator is just a black dot next to the West Siding Switch.

You can also see the siding that Extra 1837 West was to take.  The ICC report diagram exaggerates the distance between the tracks.  In reality there is considerable distance between them.
